Fitness For Seniors Is a Mindset For Advancing to a Higher Level

Fitness for seniors is a major news topic. There are 65 million of us seniors. Those of you who have trained hard and stayed in shape may think you’ve reached the top of your ability. We hear that as seniors we’re supposed to slow down and ease up our training because we’re old. That’s just nonsense. Not only is it wrong, it’s the exact opposite of what we must do. Time and gravity are conspiring to drag us down. Letting up on the effort of your training will accelerate your aging. Do you want that? We must look for sensible methods to push ourselves harder while preventing injuries.

Challenge Yourself

Realistically we know that in our 60s and older we can’t run as fast as we could in our youth. That’s not what matters. We can run up hills. We can run sets of wind sprints. I am continually finding new challenges. At age 72 fitness for seniors is my most important subject of study and action. It should be yours.

You’re middle age. You want to live long enough to reach your senior years. Fitness for seniors must become your priority now. Look around at those who are seniors. Do you want to one of the 65% who is overweight or obese? No, I didn’t think so. You want to be fit and healthy. You want to have a high energy level. Take the first step on the road to personal enlightenment. You have more within you than you are consciously aware of. Follow our nutrition and exercise guidance. Only you can control your destiny.
